It is no longer possible to file an objection!

You can no longer file an objection to the WOZ assessment.

I object to the WOZ. Should I then also object to the ozone tax assessment?

No, an objection to the value is automatically also an objection to the property tax assessment.

Do I have to pay the assessment if I object?

Yes. If you object, you do not automatically have a deferral of payment. You still have to pay the amount on your assessment to the municipality. If your objection is approved, you will get your money back afterwards.

Someone else files objection

Someone else may be objecting on your behalf. If this is the case, the objection should have an authorization signed by you.
