House rules town hall and work locations

We believe it is important that everyone feels welcome in our town hall. That is why we have a few house rules for your safety and ours. We kindly ask you to respect these house rules so that our town hall and other work locations remain pleasant and safe places for everyone.

Our house rules

  • We welcome assistance and guide dogs. Other (house) animals are not allowed.
  • You may use your wheelchair or mobility scooter. Please leave skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, and scooters outside.
  • If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please notify the employee with whom you have the appointment in a timely manner.
  • In the meeting rooms and at the counter, we only allow people who are relevant to the appointment or the conversation in question.
  • We refuse entry to visitors who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The use of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • You are not allowed to bring weapons;
  • We treat visitors with openness, integrity, and respect. We ask you to treat our staff in the same way. We do not tolerate shouting, swearing, insults, or discrimination.
  • We do not tolerate aggressive behaviour and physical violence.
  • We would like to know who you are. Non-religious head coverings (for example, a balaclava or full-face helmet) must be removed.
  • You are not allowed to make film or sound recordings without our permission. Photography is also not allowed without permission.

If you do not respect our house rules, we will address you about it. If you do not follow the instructions of our staff, this may have consequences. For example, you may be asked to leave the town hall, or we may file a report with the police. In case of threats, violence, or material damage, we always file a report.
