Want to improve Tytsjerksteradiel? Give your idea a vote

Suppose you have an idea or plan to improve Tytsjerksteradiel. Then you can submit a citizen initiative to the municipality.

A citizen initiative is organized and carried out by and for residents. We, therefore, expect you to actively work on your idea yourself.

Do you want to improve your neighborhood or village?

Perhaps you want to change an existing situation with your idea? Or start something new? The goal should be to improve the living environment in your village or neighborhood and increase social contact.

What happens if I submit my idea?

In that case, we will review your application and schedule an appointment. During this appointment, we will discuss the next steps together and how you can proceed.

We would like to hear your plan for a better Tytsjerksteradiel.

Give your idea a vote

Do you have questions about submitting your idea? Or are you unsure whether your idea qualifies as a citizen initiative? Please contact: burgerinitiatief@t-diel.nl

The rules of the game

  • Your proposal must be supported by at least 50 residents.
  • Your proposal must be within the municipal boundary.
  • It must comply with the municipality's policy.
  • Has the municipal council already made a decision about your topic less than 2 years ago? Then your proposal will not be eligible.
  • It serves the general interest instead of just your own interest.
  • It does not discriminate based on gender, race, age, or background.
  • It does not cause harm to others.
