Rules of the game for social media channels

We use social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to connect with residents and other interested parties. We want to do this in a safe and pleasant way. Below you can read what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. 

  • We strive to provide you with a response within 24 hours during working days.
  • We would like to ask you not to share any personal information, such as your address, telephone number, bank account number or login details via public messages. For your own safety, we will remove this information.
  • Do you have a question that requires you to provide personal data? Please contact us via private message, telephone, or email.

Our rules of the game

Everyone is welcome to respond to our social media posts or ask a question. We do have a number of rules for the use of social media.

  • We respect everyone's opinion and expect the same from you.
  • Keep your comments respectful. We do not accept offensive language, insults, discrimination, or threats. We will remove these immediately.
  • Respect the privacy of others. Messages containing personal data of others will be immediately removed.
  • Advertising is not permitted and will be removed.

If someone does not follow these rules, we will address it with them via the relevant social media channel. If the unwanted behavior continues, we will end the conversation and offer no further assistance. We will record the incident and may take action.
