"NO-NO" sticker, "NO-YES" sticker

You can get stickers from the municipality for your mailbox. These stickers indicate what kind of advertising you do not want to receive. This concerns mail that does not have your address on it, such as advertising leaflets and door-to-door papers.

If you would also like to stop receiving addressed advertising, you can unsubscribe from it at the Stichting Postfilter (Post Filter Foundation).

How does it work?

  • Do you not want to receive unaddressed advertising and door-to-door newspapers? Then stick a NO-NO sticker on your mailbox. Please note! You will then no longer receive the Actief.
  • Do you not want to receive unaddressed advertising, but do want to receive door-to-door newspapers? Then stick a NO-YES sticker on your mailbox. You will receive the Actief.

You can request the stickers free of charge from the municipality by visiting, calling 14 0511 or sending an email to gemeente@t-diel.nl.

Still receiving unsolicited advertising despite having a sticker?

If you still receive unsolicited advertising material (and possibly door-to-door papers) in your mailbox despite having a YES/NO - NO/NO sticker, you can file a complaint with the distributor and/or sender. If this doesn't help, you can file a complaint with the Advertising Code Committee via the Reclamecode website.

Do-Not-Call Register
