NO NO sticker, NO YES sticker

You can get stickers for your mailbox from the municipality. These stickers state what advertising you do not want to receive. This is mail that does not have your address on it. For example, advertising flyers and free local papers.

If you also don't want to receive advertising that does include your address, you can unsubscribe from the Stichting Postfilter.

How does it work?

  • Don't want to receive unaddressed advertising and door-to-door newspapers? Then place a NEE-NEE sticker on your mailbox. Attention! You will also no longer receive the Actief.
  • You do not want to receive unaddressed advertising, but you do want to receive free local papers? Then place a NEE-JA sticker on your mailbox. You will still receive the Actief.

You can request the stickers free of charge from the municipality by stopping by, calling 14 0511 or emailing gemeente@t-diel.nl.

Well a sticker and still advertising print?

If despite your YES/NO - NEE/NEE sticker you still receive unaddressed printed advertising (and possibly free local papers) in your mailbox, you can file a complaint with the distributor and/or sender. If this does not help, you can file a complaint with the Advertising Code Committee via the website of Reclamecode.
