Today was a busy and festive day in Tytsjerksteradiel: 9 couples tied the knot in our municipality.

Due to the expected tropical weather (and even extreme weather on Friday), we are adjusting the opening hours of various municipal locations.

Prospective alderwoman Dineke Wagenaar has decided not to take office on behalf of the VVD in the new city council. This means that the planned swearing-in of the new city council on July 2 will not take place.
