Building with permit: start and finish reporting
Do you have an environmental permit to build, renovate or change the use of the structure? Then you must report the start of the work and the completion of the building to the municipality. A structure for which a permit has been granted may not be put into use or taken into use if it has not yet been reported completed.
Pass the start/ready notification
Are you going to build or rebuild and your structure falls under consequence class 1? Then other rules apply. For this, see the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb) page.
How does it work?
Start message
Unless otherwise specified in the permit, the start of construction must be reported in writing to the municipality at least 2 days before the start of work. Excavation of the construction pit, start of pile driving and pouring of concrete must also be reported. Look for the details of the regulations/notices in the permit. The start notification is done with the notification form above.
Ready notification
Unless otherwise specified in the permit, construction must be reported to the municipality on the last day of construction. You can use the online notification form above to report completion. You can also call 14 0511. You will need the permit number.
What does it cost?
Reporting the start and completion of construction work does not cost anything.
