The municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel helps chronically ill people and people with disabilities with high healthcare costs. The municipality offers you two options. These are:

  • the collective health insurance, AV Frieso Compleet
  • Personal risk allowance.

How does it work?

The collective health insurance AV Frieso Compleet

The municipality, in collaboration with Friesland Zorgverzekeraar, has developed a special health insurance package: the AV Frieso Compleet. The municipality reimburses part of the additional insurance and the premium if you meet the conditions. For more information, see the page about the collective health insurance AV Frieso.

Personal risk allowance

Do you have a chronic illness (a condition from which you are not expected to recover) or a disability, OR do you have a CIZ declaration under the Long-Term Care Act, a WMO provision, or a disabled parking permit? And have you therefore paid the full deductible? Then, if you apply for it, you can get the statutory deductible partially reimbursed. For 2025, the reimbursement has been set at € 153.00.

Conditions

  • You live in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel;
  • you are 18 years or older;
  • the ability-to-pay rules for special assistance apply;
  • your assets are not higher than the amount that can be released in the Participation Act.

Submit application

You must submit the application (this application is part of the special assistance) before March 1 of the following calendar year. If you receive the notification that you have paid your own risk later, you can still apply, but it must be done within 2 months.
