The municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel helps chronically ill and disabled people with high healthcare costs. The municipality offers you two options. These are:

  • the collective health insurance, the AV Frieso Compleet
  • compensation deductible.

How does it work?

The AV Frieso Compleet group health insurance plan.

In cooperation with the Friesland Zorgverzekeraar, the municipality has developed a special health insurance package: the AV Frieso Compleet. The municipality reimburses part of the supplementary insurance and the premium if you meet the conditions. For more information, see the page on the AV Frieso collective health insurance.

Compensation deductible

Do you have a chronic illness (a condition that is not expected to improve) or a disability, or do you have a CIZ statement under the Long-Term Care Act, a WMO provision, or a disabled parking facility? And have you therefore paid the full deductible? If so, you can apply to have part of the statutory deductible reimbursed. For 2026, the reimbursement has been set at €158.00.

Terms

  • You live in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel;
  • You are 18 years of age or older;
  • the carrying capacity rules for special assistance apply;
  • your assets do not exceed the amount that can be released in the Participation Act.

Submit application

You must submit the application (this application is part of special assistance) by March 1 of the next calendar year. If the notice that you have paid your deductible comes later, you can also apply, but it must be done within 2 months.

Are you still leaving money lying around?

Many people are missing out on money. This is because they do not know what benefits and regulations are available to them. Or because their energy contract or health insurance does not fit their situation. Are you still leaving money lying around? Find out via the online checks of De VoorzieningenWijzer.
