Compensation deductible
The municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel helps chronically ill and disabled people with high healthcare costs. The municipality offers you two options. These are:
- the collective health insurance, the AV Frieso Compleet
- compensation deductible.
How does it work?
The AV Frieso Compleet group health insurance plan.
The municipality, in collaboration with Friesland Zorgverzekeraar, has developed a special health insurance package: AV Frieso Compleet. The municipality will reimburse a portion of the supplemental insurance and the premium if you meet the Requirements. For more information, please visit the page about the AV Frieso group health insurance plan.
Compensation deductible
Do you have a chronic illness (a condition from which you are not expected to recover) or a disability, or do you have a CIZ certificate under the Long-Term Health Act, a WMO benefit, or a disability parking permit? And have you paid the full deductible as a result? If so, you may be eligible for a partial reimbursement of the statutory deductible if you apply for it. For 2026, the reimbursement has been set at €158.00.
Requirements
- You live in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel;
- You are 18 years of age or older;
- the carrying capacity rules for special assistance apply;
- your assets do not exceed the amount that can be released in the Participation Act.
Submit application
You must submit the application (this application is part of the special assistance program) by April 1 of the following calendar year. If you receive notification that you have paid your deductible after that date, you can still apply, but you must do so within 3 months.
