Do you want to organize a fair? Then you need a permit from the municipality. The application form can be found at the bottom of this page.

How does it work?

You request the permit from the municipality. When doing so, provide the following information:

  • Name of the fair's boss;
  • Name of the contact person at the fair;
  • Description of fairground attractions (with technical data);
  • Date and time of the fair;
  • Date and time of carnival construction and dismantling;
  • Expected number of visitors;
  • Available emergency crews, such as first aid and security;
  • Whether streets should be closed;
  • Expected noise production (type, time, location);
  • Way to power the fairgrounds;
  • Whether you serve light alcoholic beverages (e.g., beer and wine);
  • How and by whom the grounds will be cleaned up afterwards.

You must, for your attraction, be in possession of a valid certificate of soundness. You must be able to show this certificate before the start of the fair as well as a logbook (per fairground attraction). If these requirements cannot be met, the fairground attraction may not be put into operation.

What does it cost?

A fee is charged for occupying stands on public land. You can view the rates in the Tariff Table belonging to the Regulation Stand Fee Tytsjerksteradiel.
