Notification to the central electoral office
Do you think a mistake was made when counting the votes? If so, you can report this to the central electoral committee. This only concerns errors in the official reports of the polling stations and the municipal electoral committee or in the digital file in which the municipality submitted the results.
The official reports for each polling station will be published on this website on Friday, March 20, 2026.
It is no longer possible to file a report
You could submit a report from Friday, March 20, at 12:00 p.m. until Tuesday, March 24, at 4:00 p.m. (no later than 48 hours before the meeting of the central election committee). Reports received after this deadline will not be processed.
Reporting requirements
- A report of possible counting errors must meet a number of requirements in order to be considered by the central electoral committee:
- Notifications must be received by the central electoral committee by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.
- Reports must concern any errors in the counting of votes in the official report or the digital file containing the municipality's results. These are errors that the municipal electoral committee can correct. Objections regarding other matters can be raised during the hearing of the relevant (municipal) polling station. For example, regarding a polling station that opened too late or where there were insufficient ballots.
- A report must be substantiated and specific. Simply stating that a mistake has been made is not sufficient. The person reporting the mistake must indicate what the mistake actually consists of, which polling station is involved, and what the mistake is exactly.
- The report must concern something you have observed yourself, not something you have heard about. For example: "I voted for candidate X and cannot find my vote." Not: "I have heard that the votes were not counted correctly at polling station X." Or: "My neighbor says he voted for candidate X and that vote cannot be found."
- Notifications must be submitted in writing to the central electoral committee. This can be done using the form below. Notifications cannot be made by telephone or via social media.
- In connection with the secrecy of the vote, you do not need to provide any personal details about yourself in the notification.
