Independent client support Wmo (oco).
Sometimes you as a resident have a (support) question. For example about (longer) independent living, care, education, aids, youth aid, participation, welfare, education or work and income. The independent client supporter can help you find the right care or support free of charge. The independent client supporter:
- Listens and thinks
The support person listens to your story and helps you determine what is important to you. - Provides information and advice
You are explained the options and helped to make choices. - Helps find care and support
The support person knows the offerings in the region and where to go. - Assists with practical matters
This may include help filling out forms, having conversations or making objections. - Looks out for your interests
The supporter is there for you and not tied to the interests of a municipality or care organization.
