Advertising around elections

Political parties can be advertised for the municipal elections from Feb. 18 to March 18, 2026. These are the possibilities: 

Election frames

Frames are placed at 20 locations in Tytsjerksteradiel. Banners with the posters of the participating parties will hang in those frames. This way each party has the same space to advertise.  

All political parties have now been informed of the manner in which the files must be submitted. The poster must be submitted in a PDF vector file. The minimum dimensions are 70x50 cm (portrait format). If the files contain photos, please ensure that they have a minimum resolution of 75 dpi. The digital poster must be submitted by January 20 at the latest via verkiezingen@t-diel.nl.

Election advertising on private land

What is also allowed is "advertising" on private land if the owner gives permission. The only condition is that local residents are not inconvenienced and (traffic) safety is not compromised as a result.

Municipal billboards

Existing municipal billboards may be used for posting election posters.
