Grant for greening the garden
Residents of the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel can apply for subsidies to create more greenery in their gardens. By doing so, the municipality encourages measures that are good for biodiversity and effects of extremely wet or dry weather.
This subsidy will return in 2026. More information will follow in the spring of this year. Until then, you can view the rules that applied in 2025.
Who is the grant for?
- Housing tenants.
- Property owners.
What measures are eligible?
- Tiles replaced with greenery: € 15.00 per m2. Please note: minimum 10 m2.
- Fence replaced with a green yard fence: per linear meter € 15.00.
- Tree planting (1 per dwelling): €50.00 per tree. Please note that the tree must have a minimum girth of 16 cm at 1 meter above the ground.
Eligibility
- A total subsidy amount of €10,000.00 is available for 2025.
- All applications are subject to a maximum grant amount of €500.00.
- It is only possible to apply for the grant no later than 8 weeks after the start of the project.
- All amounts mentioned include VAT.
Apply for a grant?
Have you started implementing the project? If so, you can apply for a subsidy using the application form. Once your application has been approved, you will receive confirmation by email or telephone. We will transfer the amount to your account within six weeks of confirmation.
