Tytsjerksteradiel in Bloom 2025 subsidy scheme

The Tytsjerksteradiel in Bloom subsidy is intended for the organization of a bloom week or bloom activities in 2025. This allows a village or association to organize activities in the field of health, exercise, social interaction, sustainability, and greenery.

The activities that are organized during the 'bloeiweek' (flourishing week) contribute to an environment where residents can grow old healthily and happily. A place where well-being and quality of life are central. The people in these 'bloeizones' (flourishing zones) share habits such as healthy eating, regular exercise, strong social networks, and a sense of purpose.

It is possible to organize a flowering week with the help of Fryslân Bloeit. This costs € 1,000 excluding VAT.

What can the subsidy be applied for?

The subsidy can be used for activities in the field of health, exercise, sustainability, green spaces, and more. For example, consider organizing activities such as workshops, sports activities, lectures, or walking groups. Many things are possible.

What kind of activities can we organize during the 'Bloeiweek' (Bloom Week)?

Examples of activities include a hiking tour, village dinner, outdoor swimming, scavenger hunt, village, neighborhood, or street camping, living room festival, book club, rap contest, cuttings and seeds market, repair café, clothing swap market, handicraft afternoon, healthy lunch, story evening, day start FIT, wild picking, dance, open rehearsals, sing-along concert, open gardens, outdoor fitness.

Who can apply for the subsidy?

The subsidy can be applied for by village/neighborhood associations, foundations, organizations, cooperatives and/or informal associations that are active in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel.

What is an informal association?

An informal association is a group of people who meet regularly without an official legal status. This means that the association does not have legal personality. An informal association always consists of a collaboration between several people.

Can I apply for a subsidy as an individual?

No, the subsidy can only be applied for by several people. There must be a collaboration.

How much subsidy is available?

In 2025, a total of €85,000 in subsidies has been made available. An amount of €5,000 is available per village. A maximum subsidy of €5,000 can be applied for per application. Some villages have already received subsidies.

Can we apply for a smaller subsidy amount?

Yes, that's possible. You may need less than € 5,000 to organize a 'Bloeiweek'. When you apply for the subsidy, you can fill in the amount you need.

Can we apply for multiple subsidies per village?

No, that's not possible. A maximum of one applicant per village will be granted a subsidy. Our tip is therefore to work together in the village and apply for a subsidy jointly.

How is the subsidy application assessed?

The subsidy applications are assessed based on order of receipt and completeness.

When is our grant application complete?

The subsidy application is complete if it includes the subsidy amount you are applying for and an activity plan (Format Plan of Approach Bloom Week). In the plan, you explain which activities you will do during the Bloom Week. The activities must contribute to an environment that invites healthy living, because the residents organize activities together in the field of health, exercise, social interaction, sustainability, and greenery.

What we pay attention to:

  • Whether the goal is described;
  • Whether the mentioned themes contribute to the Bloeizone philosophy;
  • Whether it describes who is involved in the application;
  • Whether a budget (cost overview) is included with the expected costs;
  • Whether the costs in the budget are proportional to the activities to be carried out.

If our application is rejected, can we submit an amended application?

Yes, if your subsidy application is incomplete and has therefore been rejected, you may submit a new application.

Until when is the scheme open?

The subsidy scheme is open until November 30, 2025. You must have carried out the activities by December 31, 2025 at the latest.
