The central electoral committee will hold a closed and a public meeting to examine and determine the lists of candidates. The closed meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 3, and the public meeting on Friday, February 6.
Tuesday, February 3: closed session of the central electoral committee
On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the central electoral committee will hold a closed session to examine the candidate lists submitted by the parties. During the session, they will check whether everything is in order. If something is missing, for example, the parties may still submit it until Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the latest.
The candidate lists and any supporting statements will be available for inspection at the town hall from Wednesday, February 3, 2026 (by appointment). Please call 14 0511 first to make an appointment.
Friday, February 6: public hearing of the central electoral committee
On Friday, February 6, 2026, at 5 p.m., the central electoral committee will announce its decision in a public session on the validity of the candidate lists, the retention of the candidates appearing on them, the retention of the designations placed on them, and the numbering of the candidate lists that have been declared valid. This session will take place in the council chamber at the town hall and is open to anyone interested in attending.
The central electoral committee will draw up minutes of this meeting. Voters may submit objections verbally. These objections will be recorded in the minutes. The minutes will be available for inspection at the town hall immediately after the meeting (by appointment). Please call 14 0511 first to make an appointment. The numbered candidate lists will be published on t-dielkiest.nl as soon as possible after the session.
