Jistrum General Cemetery
This cemetery is located at Schoolstraat 53, 9258 CG in Jistrum. The Civil Affairs Department regulates the issue of graves. For more information or to request a grave, please contact Mrs. M. Swart. You can email her: mswart@t-diel.nl or call her at 14 0511.
If you want to place a memorial stone or other monument at or on a grave, you need a permit to do so. Usually the permit is requested by stonemasonry.
Cost
The municipality incurs costs for the maintenance of the cemetery. To cover these costs, grave owners are charged an annual fee, which is the maintenance fee. View the costs in the ordinance.
Redemption of maintenance rights
The maintenance rights can be redeemed for any desired period of 10 years. The costs depend on the desired period. Information about this can be requested without obligation from Mrs. D. van der Bij at d.vanderbij@t-diel.nl or by telephone at 14 0511. If you wish to buy off the maintenance rights, please let us know in writing. Please state in your letter which grave it concerns and for which period you want to buy off the maintenance rights.
