Jistrum General Cemetery
This cemetery is located at Schoolstraat 53, 9258 CG in Jistrum. The Civil Affairs Department handles the allocation of graves. For more information or to request a grave, please contact the Civil Affairs Department. You can emailgemeente@t-diel.nlor call 14 0511.
If you want to place a memorial stone or other monument at or on a grave, you need a permit to do so. Usually the permit is requested by stonemasonry.
Cost
The municipality incurs costs for the maintenance of the cemetery. To cover these costs, grave owners are charged an annual fee, which is the maintenance fee. View the costs in the ordinance.
Redemption of maintenance rights
Maintenance rights can be purchased for any desired period of 10 years. The cost depends on the desired period. You can request information about this, with no obligation, from the Finance and Taxation Department via gemeente@t-diel.nl or by phone at 14 0511. If you wish to purchase the maintenance rights, please notify us in writing. Please specify in your letter which grave is involved and for what period you wish to purchase the maintenance rights.
