Policy plan on poverty, debt, and prevention adopted
On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the municipal council of Tytsjerksteradiel adopted the Poverty, Debt, and Prevention Policy Plan. This policy plan outlines how the municipality intends to ensure that residents can make ends meet, participate in society, and avoid problematic debt in the coming years.
With this plan, we are focusing on:
- clear and easily accessible minimum income schemes;
- accessible financial assistance;
- prevention and early detection;
- strengthening cooperation with social partners.
Implementation plan
We are working on an implementation plan to support the policy plan. This plan provides an overview of the actions the municipality will take in the coming years to achieve its goals related to poverty, debt, and prevention.
