Leaf collection containers and sweeping routes

Here are a few tips to make sweeping leaves as quick and efficient as possible:

• make sure the leaves are spread out and not in a large pile
• Remove branches, as they get stuck in the sweeper's suction

Fallen leaves on municipal land are removed by the municipality with the street sweeper. During the autumn season, the street sweeper drives through the streets more often in places where there are many trees on municipal land. You can expect the street sweeper on fixed days in a village. Of course, the car cannot sweep all streets but will sweep where most leaves are. 

The sweeping schedule in the autumn period has been adjusted. Not all streets are swept. We sweep where necessary until there is no more nuisance as a result of leaf fall. Here too, we sweep leaves. Twigs cause blockages when sweeping. So no branches in the gutters.

Deployment of mowing-suction combination

In areas with extremely heavy leaf fall, a mowing and suction combination machine is used on certain routes.
