Caravan parking on public roads
If you want to park your caravan, camper van, motorhome, trailer or folding trailer on the public road, it is allowed for a maximum of 5 days. If you want to park for longer, apply for an exemption from the municipality. For questions, please call 14 0511.
What to do.
You request the waiver from the municipality, at gemeente@t-diel.nl. Please provide the following information with your application:
- Your name and address;
- The period you want to park;
- Why you want to park your caravan, camper, motorhome, trailer or folding trailer on public roads;
- A description or picture of your vehicle.
You will receive the waiver only in the following cases:
- Parking does not take up too much parking space.
- The streetscape will not be adversely affected.
- You park in a space designated by the municipality by waiver.
- Parking does not pose a nuisance to residents and road users, for example, due to nuisance or danger.
