Client Council

The Cliëntenraad Werk en Inkomen represents the interests of residents in Tytsjerksteradiel who have to live on a minimum income. To this end, the Clients' Council has an advisory role to the Municipal Executive. The College ultimately makes the decisions.

Requested and unsolicited advice

The Work and Income Client Council gives solicited and unsolicited advice to the municipality. Sometimes the municipality asks the Client Council to give its opinion on, for example, policy changes.

The Client Council also writes its own opinions, drawing attention to issues that are important to it. The College of Mayor and Aldermen may choose to include this advice in its decision-making.
