Composting is probably one of the oldest natural recycling processes. Plant remains create a type of soil that has many good properties. The municipality only sells traditional compost.

Costs of collecting compost yourself

You can collect compost at the composting site in Sumar for a fee (self-loading).

Costs of having compost delivered

You can also have compost delivered to your home; you must fill in an application form for this.

Delivery costs are €40 per trip (for up to 6 m3 of compost, so also for 1 or 2 m3) + the cost of the compost itself (€5 per cubic meter). You will receive an invoice for this, so there's no need to pay on the spot. The compost site manager will call you to arrange a delivery time.
