Container placement on municipal land

What is it?

To temporarily place a dumpster on municipal land, you need a permit under certain conditions. Under these conditions, this is not the case:

  • The construction container must not cause a nuisance to adjacent residents;
  • The construction container should not cause a traffic unsafe situation, should not impede traffic conditions, should not be placed in a curve;
  • The construction container may be placed during construction activities, when the construction activities are finished, it must be removed again;
  • Damages caused by the (placement of) the construction container are at the expense of the client for placing the construction container.

At any time, the municipality may summon the removal of the construction container.

How does it work?

Do you need a permit? You can apply for this from the municipality. You can do this by sending a letter or an email to gemeente@t-diel.nl. Please include the following information in your application:

  • When and for how long you want to place the container.
