Small Chemical Waste

Household chemical waste (KCA) mainly consists of products that are toxic, flammable, or otherwise harmful.

Small chemical waste includes items like batteries, accumulators, paint, glue, pesticides, and oil products such as frying fat, as well as old or surplus medicines. These products are not allowed in the residual waste.

Where and when can you hand in your household chemical waste?

Household chemical waste can only be disposed of at the environmental center, Mr. W.M. Oppedijk van Veenweg 10, 9251 GA Burgum.

Bringing small chemical waste is free of charge and can be done on Wednesdays, as well as on a number of Saturdays throughout the year.
