Villages in the municipality
Tytsjerksteradiel, together with the municipalities of Achtkarspelen, Dantumadiel, Noardeast-Fryslân, forms one of the most beautiful areas of the Netherlands. An area with space and impressive greenery and water. The municipality has 17 special villages and 16 hamlets:
