Energetic Thinkers

Enerzjyke Meitinkers (Energetic Thinkers) are a group of residents who advise the aldermen and employees of the municipalities of Achtkarspelen and Tytsjerksteradiel. As a sparring partner for the municipalities, they can advise on the manner and pace in which the municipalities implement the Sustainability Agenda and Heat Vision. The members can give their opinion on sustainable themes, contribute ideas on how to implement projects, and address problems, especially in projects that directly affect the living conditions of residents.

The municipalities consult the group or ask for advice. The input from the Enerzjyke Meitinkers (Energetic Thinkers) is included in the decision-making process regarding adaptation to the effects of climate change, the energy transition, the transition to a circular economy, biodiversity, and sustainable mobility.

The Enerzjyke Meitinkers meet at least twice a year.
