ESF subsidy

Thanks to the European Social Fund (ESF) subsidy, the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel has received subsidy money to help people find work. People who have difficulty finding work receive support and training thanks to this subsidy. The subsidy is specifically aimed at:

• Young people up to 28 years old
• people aged 50 or older
• people who have been receiving benefits for at least six months
• people with an occupational disability
• Refugees with a residence permit

The Municipality of Leeuwarden is the central municipality for the Fryslân employment region and has applied for the ESF subsidy in cooperation with the other municipalities.
