Event policy

Approximately 350 events are organized annually in Tytsjerksteradiel. These events create vibrancy, community spirit and make the municipality more lively. Events contribute to a region where people like to live, work and recreate. They also contribute to the local economy. In short: events have an absolute added value in society. 

In the event policy of the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel, we indicate how we want to shape events, the applicable rules, and what the application process looks like. Organizing a safe event involves many aspects. For this reason, the involved parties were included at various times during the drafting of this event policy. Employees from various departments within the municipality, the Friesland Safety Region, the police, Koninklijke Horeca Nederland, organizers, and village associations were consulted.
