Especially in this time when many people are still working from home and we are video calling each other more and more often, we experience how important a stable and super-fast internet connection is. Fiber optic network in Tytsjerksteradiel

Following the construction of the fiber optic network in Burgum, we will soon begin construction in the villages of Tytsjerksteradiel. After the 4,500 homes in Burgum, another 8,000 homes will be connected to the fiber optic network. The construction is free and does not commit you to anything. Glaspoort is installing a second network, so you have access to multiple providers. The first fiber optic connection points have already been installed, and residents can already use their new fiber optic services. 

There will be an information evening for the village associations on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The construction of the network itself will take place in 2025.
