Fiber optic reliable network with very high capacity

Especially now, when many people are still working from home and we’re video calling each other more and more often, we’re realizing just how important a stable and super-fast internet connection is. Health also makes it possible to live at home longer, and more and more “smart” devices are finding their way into homes. Fiber-optic internet is much faster, more stable, and more reliable than today’s internet.

Fiber optic network in Tytsjerksteradiel

Following the installation of the fiber-optic network in Burgum, we will soon begin installation in the villages of Tytsjerksteradiel as well. This means that, in addition to the 4,500 homes in Burgum, another 8,000 homes will be connected to the fiber-optic network. Installation is free and comes with no obligations. Glaspoort is installing a second network, giving you access to multiple providers. The first fiber-optic access points have already been installed, and residents can already use their new fiber-optic services.
