Green Subsidy

By greening your garden, you help improve our natural environment and create a more pleasant living environment.

From gray to green! A grant for more nature in your garden

Want to make your garden greener? What a great idea! By adding more plants, you’re not only helping nature, but also making your own living environment more pleasant. Think of more birds, bees, and butterflies, less heat in the summer, and a garden that can better withstand a heavy downpour. Every step toward more greenery makes a difference.

Through the “Groen in Tytsjerksteradiel” grant, the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel supports residents who want to make their gardens greener. This can be achieved by adding more plants, reducing the amount of paving, or implementing smart measures that make a garden more resilient to drought and flooding. In this way, we are working together to build a beautiful and green municipality.

Our contribution to a green future.
