Grant for greening the garden
Residents of the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel can apply for subsidies to create more greenery in their gardens. By doing so, the municipality encourages measures that are good for biodiversity and effects of extremely wet or dry weather.

Who is the grant for?
- Housing tenants.
- Property owners.
What measures are eligible?
- Tiles replaced with greenery: € 15.00 per m2. Please note: minimum 10 m2.
- Fence replaced with a green yard fence: per linear meter € 15.00.
- Tree planting (1 per dwelling): €50.00 per tree. Please note that the tree must have a minimum girth of 16 cm at 1 meter above the ground.
Eligibility
- OP=OP: a total grant amount of €10,000.00 is available for 2025.
- All applications are subject to a maximum grant amount of €500.00.
- It is only possible to apply for the grant no later than 8 weeks after the start of the project.
- All amounts listed are inclusive of V.A.T.

Have you started implementing the project? Then it is possible to apply for subsidy via the application form (via the purple button below). After approval you will receive a confirmation via email or by phone. Within 6 weeks after confirmation we will transfer the amount to your account.
