Hotspot list municipal archive

Hotspots are notable events or topics between the government and residents, or between residents themselves. These are issues that significantly impact society.

If an event is designated as a hotspot, all related documents must be kept forever. This includes files and documents that the municipality has written or received, as well as other information such as social media posts.

These events in Tytsjerksteradiel have been designated as a hotspot

Coronavirus pandemic

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization officially declared the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (also known as Covid-19 or SARS-CoV-2) as a pandemic. There was also a lot of social unrest and attention for this topic in the Netherlands.

Ukraine reception

From March 2022, the Netherlands began receiving Ukrainians, with an initial large influx in the following weeks. This initially took place in emergency shelters throughout the country, and later in more structured reception facilities.

Refugees from Ukraine were able to make use of the special European directive for temporary protection, which entitled them to residence, housing, healthcare and education.
