In discussion with the area team
People usually solve problems themselves or with help from family, friends, or neighbors. But sometimes that doesn't work out. In that case, you can contact the area team of the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel.
To serve you even better, our youth, participation, and village teams have joined forces to form an area team. They are ready to help all residents in our municipality, young and old. Whether it concerns questions about work and income, care, education, daytime activities, or the application for a Social Support Act (WMO) provision, you can contact the social workers in the area team with all your questions. This way, there is one point of contact for all questions, and you no longer have to go from counter to counter.
Everyone must be able to participate
We believe that everyone should be able to participate. We therefore do everything we can to make this possible for our residents. Our employees will help you get back on track. Our goal is to increase the self-reliance and community resilience of our residents and to keep support in our municipalities affordable. That is why we first look together at your own possibilities and your own network. If necessary, we will look with you for other support to help you on your way. If things don't work out for a while, we are here for you!
Confidential advisor
Anyone dealing with youth care can request assistance from a confidential advisor at the Advies en Klachtenbureau Jeugdzorg (AKJ) [Youth Care Advice and Complaints Bureau]. Every child, young person, and parent or guardian can receive help from the AKJ. This organization is independent and autonomous, with no ties to the municipality, Veilig Thuis [Safe Home], the Child Protection Board, or other youth care organizations.
More information can be found at: Confidential advisors in youth care - AKJ
Youth Support Workers
The government sets strict requirements for youth care workers, such as youth and family professionals, pedagogues and psychologists. In many cases, the youth professional working with your child or family is registered in the SKJ quality register. If this is the case, you can be sure that the professional meets the strict requirements for professional competence and that he or she is required to regularly attend refresher courses. The SKJ register is public, you can check yourself whether a youth care worker is registered. Are you not satisfied with the professional conduct of the youth care worker? Then it is sometimes possible to file a complaint. More information can be found at skjeugd.nl.
