In conversation with the area team
Usually people solve problems themselves or with help from family, friends or neighbors. But sometimes that just doesn't work out. In that case, you can contact the area team of Tytsjerksteradiel.
To serve you even better, our youth, participation, and village teams have joined forces in a regional team. They are available to all residents in our municipality, young and old. Whether you have questions about work and income, care, parenting, daytime activities, or applying for Wmo benefits, you can contact the social workers in the regional team with all your questions. This means there is a single point of contact for all questions, and you no longer have to go from one office to another.
Everyone should be able to participate
We believe that everyone should be able to participate. We do everything we can to make that possible with our residents. Our employees help you get back on your feet. Our goal is to increase the self-reliance of our residents and to keep support in our municipalities affordable. Therefore, we first look together at your own possibilities and your own network. If necessary, we look with you for other support to help you on your way. If things don't work out, we are there for you!

Youth workers
The government has strict requirements for youth care providers, such as youth and family professionals, educators and psychologists. In many cases, the youth professional working with your child or family is registered in the SKJ quality register. If so, you can be sure that the professional meets the strict requirements for professional competence and that he or she regularly undergoes mandatory further training. The SKJ register is public, you can check here whether a youth care professional is registered. Are you not satisfied with the professional conduct of the youth care worker? Then it is sometimes possible to file a complaint. More information can be found at skjeugd.nl.
