Individual income allowance

The Individual Income Allowance is intended to provide annual support to people who have been living on a low income for 3 years or longer, who have little assets, and who have no prospect of income improvement. How does it work?

Once we have received the form, you will be notified as soon as possible whether or not you are eligible for the reimbursement.

Conditions

  • You are between 21 years of age and the retirement age.
  • You have had an income up to a maximum of 110% of the applicable social assistance standard for 3 years or longer. See the Social Assistance Standards page for more information.
  • In the past 3 years, your assets have not exceeded:
    • single € 7,770.00
    • single parent and married/cohabiting € 15,540.00
  • The equity in your own home may not exceed €65,500.00.
  • You have no prospect of income improvement.
