Instructions for using soap nuts

What are soap nuts? Soap nuts, also known as wash nuts, are the fruits of the Sapindus mukorossi tree. These nuts contain saponins, a natural substance that produces a soapy foam when it comes into contact with water. This makes them ideal for natural cleaning and detergents.

Advantages of soap nuts

  • Environmentally friendly: Soap nuts are biodegradable and free of chemicals.
  • Hypoallergenic: Ideal for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
  • Cost-saving: When using low washing temperatures, washing nuts can be used multiple times.

How do you use soap nuts?

  1. Preparation: Place 3 to 4 soap nuts in the supplied laundry bag.
  2. Place the washing bag with the soap nuts between your clothes in the washing machine.
  3. You can use the soap nuts 2 to 3 times.
  4. Settings: Choose your preferred washing program. Soap nuts work well at both low and high temperatures.
  5. After use: The soap nuts can be thrown with the green waste or between your plants after use.
