Youth Healthcare

The municipality is responsible for youth health care. This is health care for all children between 0 and 19 years. You and your child will receive an invitation to visit a consultation center or at school.

All children have the right to be and stay healthy. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) helps to keep society healthy by preventing health problems, even when everything seems fine at first glance. The earlier a deficiency, disorder, or disease is detected, the greater the chance of optimal development. And this early detection is possible because the GGD has regular contact with all children.
