Youth nuisance

In our municipality, everyone should be able to feel comfortable and safe in their own living environment.

Sometimes young people cause disturbances in public spaces. Denk loud music, gatherings in certain areas, litter, or intimidating behavior.
We take these issues seriously and always strive to strike a good balance between quality of life, safety, and the space young people need to get together.

What does the congregation do?

We work closely with the police, youth work, schools and neighborhood residents to identify and address nuisances.
Our Boas (special investigating officers) are visibly present in places where youth nuisance occurs.
Where necessary, we engage with young people and their parents or guardians.
We are committed to prevention and youth participation because we believe that involved youth are less likely to cause nuisance.
