The campaign starts on Tuesday, November 25 and aims to get as many children as possible from Tytsjerksteradiel to participate. You can sign up via JoinHackShield.com or download the app.

Kickoff with video at elementary schools

To publicize the game, a special video was made for all elementary schools in the municipality. This video is shared through multiple channels calling on children to participate. Because the Internet is fun, but you have to know how to stay safe. Among other things, this video was shown during the kick-off event in Heemstrastate where groups 7 and 8 of the elementary school Opstap, de Paadwizer (Oentsjerk) and It Kruirêd (Munein) come together. This event is the kick-off of the campaign against online crime.

Mayor Tineke Schokker encourages all children to play along: "Mei tank oan jimme kinne wy online criminals bûten de doar hâlde. Meld dy oan en lear hoe'tst tûk en feilich it internet op kinst. And foar the bêste Cyber Agents binne der ek nice prizes to win!"
