Children's artwork on display at the town hall
During last summer's art spectacle, organized by Vakwerk Burgum, children worked together with artist Gerke Procee to create a beautiful sculpture.
The result? An impressive black pillar, constructed from brown paper tape and cardboard, filled with surprising and imaginative figures: unique creatures that the children themselves have devised. This week, Alderman Jan Pieter van der Velde officially accepted the artwork.
This beautiful work of art is now on display in the public hall of the town hall!
