Submit a complaint

Are you waiting too long for a letter to be answered? Is the handling of a case taking too long? Have you requested information but not received it? Or have you not been treated properly? In these types of cases, you can report this to us. Please do, because we believe that we should help you well and properly!

DigiDSubmit a complaint

Have you come across a loose paving stone, a fallen tree or a broken lamppost? Then file a Report Living and Living.

How does it work?

You can submit a complaint in the following ways:

  • Directly by filling in the complaint form via the button above.
  • In writing: to the Mayor and Aldermen, addressed to the complaints coordinator, Postbus 3, 9250 AA in Burgum
  • Verbally: with the complaints coordinator. Please call 14 0511 to arrange this.

What happens after I file a complaint?

  1. The complaints coordinator will contact you to clarify the complaint and/or to see if anything can still be 'done'.
  2. If you wish to maintain the complaint, you will receive a confirmation of receipt.
  3. The complaint handler will invite you to explain your story. The person being complained about will be asked for an explanation.
  4. The executive board will then comment on the complaint. You will receive a written notification of this. If the executive board believes that the complaint is justified, the letter will indicate what measures will be taken to prevent similar complaints in the future and/or to improve services.
