Would you rather call? Or is there a dangerous situation? Then choose from the following numbers:
- 14 0511. Municipality, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For environmental questions and reports, such as pollution, loose paving stones or odor nuisance;
- (0511) 460 888. Municipal emergency number, outside office hours. For urgent reports about roads, sewers and bridges;
- (058) 212 24 22. Provincial environmental emergency number, this number is available 24 hours a day. For water or soil pollution, fish kills or oil spills;
- 112. Fire department or police. For emergencies: for downed trees and other dangerous situations.

For general, non-urgent complaints about events in the Green Star, you can report to the municipality of Leeuwarden.
Nuisance boating Lits-Lauwersmeer route
Municipalities, province, police, entrepreneurs and De Marrekrite are working together on an attractive and safe Lits-Lauwersmeer route. We find it important that you can recreate freely and relaxed on De Swemmer in Northeast Fryslân. However, it may happen that you experience nuisance during your boating trip. It is important that you report your experiences so that we can improve and sharpen our approach to countering the nuisance. You can use the notification form to report swimmer nuisance.
