Then you can call the national Meldpunt Zorgwekkend Gedrag (Concerning Behavior Reporting Center) at telephone number 0800 – 1205. In an emergency, always call 112. Are you thinking about suicide? Then call 113. On the website of the Rijksoverheid (Dutch government website) you can read more about where you can go with concerns about a person with confused behavior.

Compulsory Mental Healthcare Act (Wvggz)

The Compulsory Mental Healthcare Act (Wvggz) has been in effect since January 1, 2020. This law regulates the rights of people who have to deal with compulsory care in mental healthcare. An important change is that compulsory care can now also be provided outside a mental healthcare institution. You can read more about the Wvggz on the website of the national government.
