New step in Hurdegaryp housing project: 13 new homes
On Wednesday, the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel and project developer Harns Invest, in collaboration with Kuin Vastgoedontwikkeling, signed a purchase and realization agreement. Thirteen homes will be built on the site of the former furniture store in Hurdegaryp. This will convert existing space into new residential accommodation, 11 of which will fall below the provincial affordability threshold.
The plan was developed in close collaboration between the municipality and OWC Harns Invest - Kuin. The agreement includes provisions regarding, among other things, the transfer of the land, parking, the housing construction program, and the costs to be borne by the developer. It also specifies the work to be carried out by the developer on behalf of the municipality, such as modifications to the sewer system and paving.
Alderman Berber van Zandbergen:“With this agreement, we are taking an important step toward realizing better and more suitable housing for our residents. This project contributes to a sustainable and livable Hurdegaryp.”
Project developer Harns Invest is also pleased with the collaboration: "We are proud to be able to realize this plan together with the municipality. The 13 homes are well suited to local housing needs and enhance the quality of life in Hurdegaryp."
