You will receive a newsletter from us twice a year. We will send this together with your benefit statement in February and July. This will keep you informed of important information about work, income, regulations, and debt assistance.

My income
Are you familiar with My Income? It is an online environment where you can find your annual statement and monthly overviews, among other things. You can also easily notify us of any changes and your income from work via My Income. Manage your affairs in My Income and discover the advantages of this digital portal. It is still possible to notify us of changes on paper.
Wanted: new members for the Client Council
As a member of the Client Council, you are an advocate and a voice for those who need it most. Together with other members, you contribute ideas on various topics, such as poverty policy, minimum income policy, and debt assistance.

Walk-in consultation hours at the library in Burgum
Do you have questions about work or education? Then come to the walk-in consultation hour at Werk in dbieb. The consultation hour is for anyone who is looking for work, a different job, or education.
Not sure what suits you best? Or would you like help writing a resume or applying for a job? Staff from Wurkstart, Bureau Zelfstandigen Fryslân, and the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel offer free and independent advice during walk-in consultation hours. You can also take a free career test to gain more insight into your options.
- When: every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
- Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Where: dbieb Burgum (1st floor)

During a home visit, an advisor will go through all the arrangements with you and see what you are entitled to.
Overview of your financial affairs
Having an overview of your finances gives you peace of mind. If you know how much money you earn and how much you spend, you can also see whether you need to save.
You can obtain this overview by keeping a household account book.
You write down your income, then your expenses and what you want to save or set aside. There are handy, free apps available online. If you search for'free online household budget book' in a search engine, youwill find various apps that you can use to keep track of your finances. In addition, more and more banks are offering budgeting apps.

The Digital Government Information Point (IDO) can be found at the Burgum and Gytsjerk libraries. The KEaRN Forms Desk is part of this information point.
During walk-in consultation hours, volunteers are available to help you fill out forms. For example, you can get help with:
- applying for allowances and benefits;
- the tax return;
- questions about healthcare.
When are the walk-in consultation hours?
- dbieb Burgum: every Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Gytsjerk library: Monday afternoons in even weeks from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The assistance is free of charge and you do not need to make an appointment. You are most welcome!
