Report income and changes online

You can manage your benefit-related matters yourself on My Income. You will need your DigiD for this.

What can you arrange yourself?

  • Completing an income form
  • Filling out a change form
  • Viewing a benefit statement  

Soon you will be able to apply for special assistance via the website. You will also be able to submit your request for assistance to the Area Team via the website, for example, about work, income, care, education, daytime activities or youth care.

Free career assistance

The Werk drop-in session is available for all your questions about work and education. For example, are you looking for a job but don't know what suits you? Or would you like to know more about taking a course? Get free help, for example by taking a career test or having an advice session with Wurkstart.

Opening hours walk-in consultation Werk (Work)

Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM you can just walk in, without an appointment. You can find the consultation hour in dbieb in Burgum (1st floor)  

The Werk drop-in session is organized in collaboration with Wurkstart, the Participation Team of the Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel, and Bureau Zelfstandigen Fryslan. 

Help with filling out forms

More and more things need to be arranged online, from applying for allowances to renewing your driver's license. But what if you have trouble with this?  

Volunteers from the KEaRN Welzijn form desk are ready to help you.

Monday afternoon (even weeks) between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM in the library in Gytsjerk.
Tuesday afternoon between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM in the library in Burgum.

You can walk in without an appointment.

Need help with a difficult situation?

The Legal Help Desk (Juridisch loket) offers free initial assistance with legal questions, such as a neighbor dispute or an objection procedure.  

You can find information, tips, and sample letters on the website www.juridischloket.nl.

You can also call the legal help desk free of charge on telephone number 0800-8020.  

You can also visit the Legal Help Desk in Leeuwarden. Here you can go without an appointment on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and on Thursday between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. The address is Zuidersingel 12 in Leeuwarden.

No money for sports or culture?

As a municipality, we are affiliated with the Volwassenenfonds Sport & Cultuur (Adults Fund for Sports & Culture). This fund pays the tuition fees, contributions and materials for adults with a low income.
