Submit income and changes online

On My Income you arrange matters for your benefit yourself. For this you need your DigiD.

What can you arrange for yourself?

  • Completing an income form
  • Fill out a change form
  • Viewing a benefit statement  

Soon you will be able to apply for special assistance through the website. You can also use the website to submit your request for help to the Area Team, for example about work, income, care, parenting, day care or youth assistance.

Free help with your career

The Work Walk-In Consultation is there for all your questions about work and education. For example, are you looking for a job but don't know what suits you? Or would you like to know more about following a training program? Get free help on your way, for example by doing a career test or a counseling session with Wurkstart.

Work walk-in hours

Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 15.00 - 17.00 you can just walk in, without an appointment. You can find the consultation hour in the library in Burgum (1st floor).  

The Walk-in Talk Work is organized in cooperation with Wurkstart, Team Participation Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel and Bureau Zelfstandigen Fryslan. 

Help with filling out forms

More and more things need to be taken care of online. From applying for benefits to renewing your driver's license. But what if you have trouble with this?  

Volunteers from KEaRN Welfare's forms counter are ready to help you.

Monday afternoons (even weeks) between 15.30 and 17.30 in dbieb in Gytsjerk.
Tuesday afternoons between 15.30 and 17.30 in dbieb in Burgum.

You can walk in without an appointment.

Need help with a difficult situation?

The Legal Help Desk offers free initial help with legal questions, such as a neighbor dispute or an appeal.  

The website www.juridischloket.nl provides information, tips and sample letters.

You can also call the legal desk toll-free at 0800-8020.  

You can also drop by the legal desk in Leeuwarden. You can come here without an appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 and on Thursdays between 14:00 and 16:00. The address is Zuidersingel 12 in Leeuwarden.

No money for sports or culture?

As a municipality, we are affiliated with the Adult Sports & Culture Fund. This fund pays tuition, fees and materials for low-income adults.
