Environmental plan (formerly zoning plan).
The environmental plan contains general rules of the municipality for the physical environment. The environment in which you live, work and spend your leisure time. The environmental plan makes clear which developments and initiatives are possible within an area. For example, the environmental plan indicates where housing, stores, businesses or restaurants are allowed. Every municipality has one environment plan under the Environment Act.
