Environmental plan (formerly zoning plan).
The Environmental Plan sets out the municipality’s general rules for the physical living environment—the area where you live, work, and spend your free time. The Environmental Plan clarifies which developments and initiatives are permitted within a given area. For example, it specifies where homes, stores, businesses, or restaurants may be located. Every municipality has a single Environmental Plan under the Omgevingswet.
View environmental plan
You can view the environmental plan via "Regulations on the Map " ( ) in the Omgevingsloket. This works best on a regular computer or laptop. Search for the address in question using the search bar or click on the Map. You will then see the regulations and plans that apply to that location.
Environment plan replaces zoning plans
With the enactment of the Omgevingswet January 1, 2024, zoning plans will no longer exist. All existing adopted zoning plans and those adopted zoning plans that were made available for public review in draft form before January 1, 2024, will form part of the environmental plan.
