Unrest in Noardburgum
Last weekend, there was a stabbing incident in Noardburgum, followed by vandalism at a residence. This is a traumatic event for everyone involved and the entire village.
Mayor Kanter Breuker understands the emotions stirred up by this traumatic event. However, he condemns all forms of violence and the notion that residents should take the law into their own hands. He therefore calls on all residents of Noardburgum to remain calm. Right now, it is especially important that peace and a sense of security return to the village.
