Draft Water and Sewage Program ‘Wettersoarch’ available for inspection

The municipality is drawing up a new Water and Sewage Program (WRP). In it, we set out how we will deal with wastewater, rainwater, and groundwater. With the new program, we determine how we want to carry out our municipal water tasks in the coming years.

Why a new WRP?

Our climate is changing. We are increasingly faced with heavy rainfall, flooding, and periods of drought. These developments have a major impact on how we live, work, and organize our environment. That is why climate change plays an important role in this new WRP.

To ensure that the program is well aligned with current issues, we involved residents and council members at an early stage. For example, residents were able to give their opinions in a survey at the beginning of last year, and we organized an open evening for residents in July. A themed afternoon was organized for the municipal council. The policy selection memorandum was discussed in the council in an advisory capacity.

Documents are available for inspection until March 14, 2026.
