Have pruning waste collected
Do you have pruning waste? You can take it to the municipal composting site in Sumar. This is free of charge. Bringing a tree stump varies in cost from €25.00 to €35.00, depending on the size of the tree stump.
Unable to drop off?
The municipality can also collect the pruning waste. Every Tuesday we drive through the municipality to collect pruning waste. There are costs associated with this. When it is busy, it can also be Wednesday or Thursday.
You can register up to a maximum of 2 m3 of waste before Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM. This can be done using the online form or by calling 14 0511.
The municipality only collects and processes pruning waste from private individuals. The municipality does not collect commercial waste. You can hire a recognized collector for this.
How does it work?
To have your waste collected, it must be placed on the public road no later than 7:00 AM. Please consider the following:
- Soil, grass, moss, and sod will not be collected;
- Fences, screens, sleepers, etc. are not considered garden waste and can be taken to the environmental center.
- Pruning waste must be registered per household. Collection heaps are therefore not permitted. This is because in practice other things often end up between the pruning waste, such as railway sleepers;
- Do not place the pruning waste against obstacles such as trees and lampposts. Place it loosely, without any strings around it.
