Start of insulation campaign: Don't let your money blow away
On the Market in Burgum on Friday, June 13, you could grab an insulation budget. With a striking 'money box', extra attention was drawn to the insulation campaign "Don't let your money blow away".
Alderman Van Zandbergen was the first to step into the transparent booth full of waving symbolic money and invited residents to grab for insulation budget.

Everyone with their own tactics; from young to old. The prize winners received a voucher of 50 euros for energy-saving materials. This voucher can be spent at Van der Wal Hout.
"It's great to hear how many residents are already actively insulating their homes. That awareness is very important. Insulation not only helps to save energy, but also to lower housing costs. And right now, there is money available to help with that, let's seize that opportunity together," says Alderman van Zandbergen.
The Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel is 1 of the 14 Frisian municipalities that wants to make its residents aware of the subsidy options for insulation. The subsidy can amount to more than €5,000 per home, depending on income and housing situation. Residents who want to get started with insulation themselves can also use the scheme.
