At the Market Square in Burgum on Friday, June 13, you could grab insulation money. An eye-catching "moneybox" was used to draw extra attention to the insulation campaign "Don't let your money blow away.
Councilman Van Zandbergen was the first to step into the see-through booth full of flapping symbolic money and invite residents to reach for insulation budgets.

Everyone with their own tactics; from young to old. The prize winners received a 50 euro voucher for energy-saving materials. This voucher can be spent at Van der Wal Hout.
"It is nice to hear how many ynwenners are already actively working on it isolearjen fan harren wenning. Dy bewustwurding is tige wichtich. Municipality Tytsjerksteradiel is 1 of 14 Frisian municipalities that wants to make its residents aware of the subsidy possibilities for insulating. The subsidy can amount to more than € 5,000 per home, depending on income and living situation. Residents who want to get started with insulation themselves can also take advantage of the scheme.
