Tytsjerksteradiel Bloeit subsidy scheme

The Tytsjerksteradiel Bloeit subsidy is intended for the organization of a bloom week or bloom activities in 2026. This allows a village or association to organize activities in the areas of health, exercise, socializing, sustainability, and greenery.

The activities organized during bloom week contribute to an environment where residents can grow old healthily and happily. A place where well-being and quality of life are central. People in these blossom zones share habits such as healthy eating, regular exercise, strong social networks and a sense of purpose.

It is possible to organize a bloom week with help from Fryslân Bloeit. This costs €1,000 excluding VAT.

What is the purpose of this grant?

The purpose of this grant is to support residents in organizing a Bloom Week and/or Bloom Activities. Activities during Bloom Week contribute to an environment that invites healthy and happy aging.  

What can the grant be applied for?

The grant can be spent on activities related to health, exercise, sustainability, greenery and more. Consider organizing activities such as workshops, sports activities, lectures or walking groups. Many things are possible.   

What kind of activities can we organize during the Bloom Week or Bloom Days?

Examples of activities may include a walking tour, village dinner, outdoor swimming, scavenger hunt, village, neighborhood or street camping, living room festival, book club, rap contest, cuttings and seeds market, repair cafe, clothing swap market, crafts afternoon, healthy lunch, story night, day start FIT, wild picking, dance, open rehearsals, sing-along concert, open gardens, outdoor fitness. 

Who can apply for the grant?

The grant can be applied for by village/neighborhood interests, foundations, associations, cooperatives and/or informal associations active in the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel. 

What is an informal association?

An informal association is a club of people who meet regularly, with no official legal status. This means that the association has no legal personality. An informal association always consists of a partnership between several people. 

Can I apply for a grant as an individual?

No, the grant can only be applied for by more than one person. There must be a partnership. 

How much subsidy is available?

A total of €85,000 in subsidies has been made available for 2026. Each village has €5,000 at its disposal. A maximum of €5,000 in subsidies can be requested per application.

Can we also apply for less subsidy?

Yes, that is possible. You may need less than €5,000 to organize a Bloeiweek or Bloei activities. When applying for the subsidy, you can indicate the amount you need.

Can we apply for multiple grants per village?

No, you can't. A maximum of one grant is given to one applicant per village. Therefore, our tip is to mainly work together in the village and apply for grants together.

How will the grant application be reviewed?

Grant applications will be assessed on the basis of completeness.

When is our grant application complete?

The grant application is complete if it includes the grant amount you are applying for and an activity plan (Format Plan of Approach Bloeiiweek). In the plan, you explain what activities you will do during Bloom Week. The activities must contribute to an environment that invites healthy living by residents organizing activities together in the areas of health, exercise, meeting, sustainability and greenery.

What do we pay attention to:

  • Or the purpose is described;
  • Whether the themes mentioned contribute to Bloeizone thinking;
  • Or it describes who is involved in the application;
  • Whether it includes a budget (cost summary) with the expected costs;
  • Whether the costs in the budget are commensurate with the activities to be performed.

If our application is rejected, may we submit an amended application?

Yes, if your subsidy application has been rejected, you may submit a new application. If your application is incomplete, you may provide us with additional information.

Until when is the scheme open?

The subsidy scheme for 2026 will be available soon. We will then also let you know until when you can apply for a subsidy.

Can I get support in organizing a Bloom Week?

It is possible to organize a Bloom Week with the help of Fryslân Bloeit. The costs for this are € 1,000 excluding VAT. You can pay the costs for support from the subsidy. Make sure you include these costs in the budget with your subsidy application. More information about the growth trajectory can be found on the Fryslân Bloeit website .

Joining Fryslân Bloeit is not obligatory. You can also organize a Bloom Week independently as a village.
