'Twadde kâns beamkes' rêde on Nov. 1, 2025
On Saturday, November 1, Vitens, Province of Friesland, Food Forest De Iest, Municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel and the campaigns of Nature Work Day and More Trees Now are joining forces. The aim of this day is to save seedlings and everyone is called on to help. More Trees Now is a national campaign to move saplings and shrubs from underprivileged to promising places.

Of course, each volunteer may also take home some trees. The trees that do not yet have a spot will be stored in the tree hub at food forest De Iest in Sumar. These trees will be distributed to residents of Tytsjerksteradiel on a distribution day later in the season.
